Stone Island Trousers from the 1998 AW Collection. In 1998, English designer Paul Harvey was the head designer and creative director for Stone Island. He took lead after brand's founder, Massimo Osti and led the design team until 2008. During Harveys tenure in 1998, he oversaw the creation of several iconic collections and fabric experimentations. Rather than copying existing garments, Stone Island's inspiration always came from the lab. The slightly faded, textured look of the dark canvas is the result of their signature garment-dyeing process.
