Founded by partners Sophie Cabourn and Thomas Smith in Newcastle upon Tyne, RE:BOURN is a high-end, specialist, and carefully curated retailer.

Our collection spans rare vintage, archive, deadstock, pre-loved, and brand-new pieces — sourced and collected from all over the world.

We pride ourselves on bringing together an eclectic mix of brands. You’ll find Stone Island and C.P. Company sitting alongside Comme des Garçons and Prada, with Nigel Cabourn and Margaret Howell vintage pieces sharing space with Chanel, Junya Watanabe, and Burberry classics.

We stock engineered Japanese workwear from brands such as Kapital, Needles, and And Wander, as well as outdoor innovators like Arc’teryx, Patagonia, Montbell, and Snow Peak. You can expect to find streetwear icons Supreme, Palace, BAPE, and Stüssy, alongside runway greats Yohji Yamamoto, Dries Van Noten, and Loewe — all on one showroom rail. From one-off samples that never made it into production to timeless classics that rarely surface on the market, every piece has been chosen with intention.

We began in Newcastle, hosting curated and specialised pop-ups that brought together like-minded people and a shared love for style, culture, and good energy. What started as a local idea has grown into a series of sought-after events across the UK — always rooted in community and connection.

From the beginning, our focus has been on creating good vibes — spaces that feel alive, inclusive, and inspiring.

Each event is about more than shopping; it’s about bringing people together, discovering something new, and celebrating the culture around clothing.

We’ve introduced rare brands and archive pieces that were never available anywhere else in Newcastle — labels that usually only exist in big cities or private collections. Every drop is curated with intention, blending global names with independent designers and cult favourites to create something fresh and unexpected every time.

Secret Garden Studio

Tucked away in Newcastle, our Secret Garden Studio is by-appointment only. It’s part showroom, part bar, part creative hub — a hidden space where our customers  can explore the collection in private.With a fully stocked bar and a relaxed, intimate atmosphere, the studio also doubles as a venue for smaller private events, previews and one-off gatherings, making it more than just a shop — it’s an experience.

Styling, Rental & Sourcing

RE:BOURN isn’t just about selling. We rent archive and rare clothing to stylists, film productions, brands, artist and editorial shoots, giving our pieces a life both on and off screen.We also offer personal sourcing services, tracking down specific grails or building one-of-a-kind edits for individuals, stylists, and collectors. Our network stretches worldwide, meaning we can bring in pieces that would otherwise never reach the UK.

Website Drops

We’re starting with a website drop model — carefully curated online releases that come in chapters. Each drop is its own story, with a mix of labels, archives, and one-offs that can’t be found anywhere else.This model lets us slow down, focus on quality, and make every release feel special.Slowly but surely, RE:BOURN will move from being a North East best kept secret to a worldwide platform for curated fashion discovery
