Stone Island Henley Fleece Pullover from the SS1987 collection. Released under the master mind of Stone Island, Massimo Osti. Inspired by traditional military base layers and the rugged undershirts worn by European sailors and dockworkers in the early 20th century. Osti loved the simplicity of the Henley because it was purely functional and designed to allow ventilation during hard labor while remaining snug against the skin. The embroidered stone island logo represents a brief era of Stone Island, before the green and yellow compass badge dominated the brand. Osti had a fascination with Italian resort and yacht club wear, using minimal elegant script branding on garments.
