It represents a fusion of military functionality, industrial protection, and futuristic textile innovation. Stone Island's design team used this jacket to experiment with depth and perception. Through a double-dyeing process in their Italian colour laboratories, the nylon fibres and the internal components react differently to the dye baths. The inspiration here was to create a ‘living’ garment where the shade looks completely different depending on the angle of the sun, the shadows, or the movement of the wearer.
