Stone Island Sweatpants from the SS09 collection. The design inspiration behind these sweatpants is the Luxury Sportswear movement of the late 2000s, which combined traditional military tailoring with mid-century athletic track uniforms. The stark black and white piping detail down the side out-seams directly references mid-century European track and field warm-up uniforms. This layout was designed to elongate the look of the leg during movement.
