The most sought after Stone Island piece in recent years - Stone Island Tela Stella 30th Anniversary Smock. The Tela Stella was released in 2012 to celebrate 30 years of Stone Island 1982-2012). It was part of commemorative capsule, not a standard seasonal item which is why details and branding are different from regular Stone Island smocks. The smock is an exact re-edition of a piece from the first collection in 1982. The Tela Stella fabric is what the brand was founded on, the study of the technical and functional characteristics of military truck tarpaulins. Made from cotton canvas on both sides with special pigmented resin in contrast colours. The garment then undergoes an extended enzyme wash to give it a deliberate faded look. Amazingly, the buttons used for this piece are originally from 1982, these were surplus from the brands early days, rediscovered in the Stone Island warehouse in Ravarino.
