Nigel Cabourn x Vans Vault OG Authentic LX Sneakers from the 2021 collaboration. The collab between iconic British designer Nigel Cabourn and Californian skate brand, Vans allowed them to find the perfect middle ground between rugged, functional utility and a relaxed, laid-back beach aesthetic. Cabourn noted that this collab was heavily inspired by his travels to California and Japan. The overall inspiration for this shoe was the USMC Herringbone twill shirt pulled from Cabourn’s own personal archive collection. This colour way was a direct homage to the experimental camo’s used by the US Marines in the 1940’s.
