Nigel Cabourn Authentic Mallory Jacket from 2012 collection. The Mallory jacket stands as one of Nigel Cabourn's most celebrated and iconic archive pieces. This collection was an iconic time for the Cabourn brand & was inspired by George Mallory's 1924 attempt to summit Everest. While named after Mallory, the visual design was actually sparked by an archival photograph of a Sherpa taken during Sir Edmund Hillary’s historic 1953 Everest expedition.
