While the more famous Mallory Jacket is a three-button tweed design, this 8-button double-breasted version is inspired by the tailored civilian suits that Mallory and his team - Andrew ‘Sandy’ Irvine wore during the early 1920s. It is made from a heavy navy chalk stripe flannel provided by the historic Fox Brothers and Co, the original creator of flannel in the 1770’s. A legendary West of England Mill known for its high quality wool flannel.
