Nigel Cabourn Authentic 3-Button Work Jacket from the SS20 collection. During WWI and WWII, British soldiers who were recovering in military hospitals were issued a specific, simplified uniform. It had to look respectable enough for an officer/soldier to wear around the grounds, but it lacked the stiff, restrictive internal padding, heavy canvases of a standard combat or dress uniform. Cabourn replicated this unstructured ease exactly for this garment.
