Merz B Schwanen 346 Heavyweight Sweater

Merz b Schwanen 346 Heavyweight Sweater. Founded in 1911 by Balthasar Merz, Operating out of a textile factory in the Swabian Alps of Germany, the founder Balthasar Merz produced simple, highly durable utilitarian pieces meant for heavy labourers. It was an exceptionally well-preserved 1911 Henley worker shirt found a century later at a Berlin flea market, that inspired the brand's modern-day revival. Designers Peter and Gita Plotnicki discovered this t shirt in 2011 and the brand was revived to what it is known for today. The fabric is knit into a continuous tube on circular loopwheel machine, there are no side seams to chafe & irritate your skin, or fray over time. These rare machines take approximately an hour to an hour and a half to knit just one single metre of fabric.
