Kapital Ripstop Brush Camo Ring Coat is a legendary piece that pulls design cues from completely different worlds, mixing traditional Japanese clothing with vintage Western military surplus. Released in SS20, The core silhouette relies on historical Japanese clothing. The sweeping & oversized proportions, wide sleeves and asymmetrical wrap-front closures are direct adaptations of a traditional kimono. It also pulls from historical Japanese mountain gear, giving it a slouchy, voluminous fit that swathes the body like a sleeping bag. The designers fused the Japanese elements of this coat with rugged Americana. Utilising the fabrics configurations of standard military parkas.
