Clark’s Natural Veg Leather Tan Wallabee’s. Made from smooth, untreated natural veg-tan calf leather. This specific leather starts as a light tan shade and darkens naturally over time, developing a rich unique patina based on wear and exposure to sunlight. In the 1960s, Lance Clark (the great-grandson of the brand's co-founder) discovered a unique, casual shoe while traveling through Europe. The shoe was called the Grasshopper, manufactured by the German footwear company Sioux. Clark fell in love with its shape and struck a licensing deal to adapt and manufacture their own version in Kilkenny, Ireland.
