Vintage Stone Island Stellina Cardigan from the 90’s era. During the 90s, Stone Island introduced the Stellina (little star) embroidery as an alternative to their loud, signature removable compass badge that everyone knows today. The choice to build a cardigan out of heavy, structured garment-dyed sweatshirt fleece rather than standard fine knitwear was heavily inspired by mid-century industrial uniforms and mechanical sportswear. The inclusion of the subtle yellow threading inside the arm cuffs acts as a direct homage to the manufacturing floor.
