1980’s Adidas Originals Ivan Lendl Tennis Track Jacket From the late 80’s era. This jacket is deeply rooted in tennis history, specifically connected to the legendary Czech-American player Ivan Lendl. It represents a highly collectible era of sportswear from the mid-to-late 1980s! Ivan Lendl dominated tennis back in that era, winning 8 Grand Slam singles titles and holding the World No. 1 ranking for 270 weeks. The distinct multi-coloured grid patch on the left chest represents Lendl's iconic signature geometric aesthetic. Adidas built a massive signature line around this specific pattern, matching it across his polo shirts, shorts, shoes, and rackets, an iconic grid patch from adidas that is still recognisable to this day!
