The design inspiration behind this SS95 jersey stems from the Stone Island Marina aesthetic, which was heavily influenced by traditional maritime workwear and European coastal sailing culture. The silhouette was inspired by traditional rugby shirts that were adopted by mid-century outdoor communities (like coastal boaters and 1970s rock climbers) due to their heavy-duty fabric and durable collar structure. Osti lifted this silhouette to blend sportswear with rugged sea gear.
