Stone Island Burgundy Crewneck Sweatshirt from the late 80’s. During the 1980s, high fashion in Milan led by brands like Versace and Armani, focused heavily on padded shoulders, tailored nipped waists, and sharp, formal power-dressing. Osti, working independently out of his laboratory in Bologna, deliberately rebelled against this look. He drew inspiration from loose-fitting, oversized industrial workwear and mid-century military base layers. The Burgundy colour way is another one of Osti’s experimental garment dying process's, giving it a broken in patina and historical depths, straight off the rails.
