Nigel Cabourn Lybro Chief Stoner Chore Jacket from the SS18 collection. The silhouette is a direct nod to the British Stoker jackets. Originally worn by the railway men and train crew who hand-stoked the coal fires on board steam engines. The heavy washes, direct pigment dyeing and dark over painted blocks simulate the actual coal soot, grease and hard-worn grime a stoker would accumulate after long shifts in a boiler room.
