The core inspiration is directly modelled after the US Type 1 Bush Jacket, which was standard-issue tropical gear used by the United States Marine Corps (USMC) during the Vietnam War. The angled single chest pocket and oversized lower bellows pockets are functional archival details carried over from military jungle fatigues.
